Stormlord is an epic black metal (self-classified as “Extreme epic metal”) band from Rome, Italy. They have released four full-length albums. Their prominent use of keyboards compared to many other black metal bands gives their sound an epic feel, much like power metal.
Most of their songs have an epic theme, recurring to stories and characters from Greek Mythology (Zeus, Hades, Persephone, Prometheus, Medusa, Titans), and battles. I like split albums, to me it feels that you’re getting two experiences instead of one. True to the hardcore/punk style this album packs in 7 intense tracks in under 14 minutes, so there are no slow songs on this. Personally I prefer Hour Of The Wolf to Lewd acts as I find Lewd acts a bit unploished and slightly to metal for my taste. Anyway enjoy this one.
